Count down to my 20th and very last visit to Uganda 🇺🇬!

Flights booked, insurance paid up, visa obtained (on second application!), appointment made with travel nurse with I’m sure a few booster jabs waiting for me, I’m now looking round for best price for enough Malerone tablets to prevent me from getting malaria, as well as insect repellent with 50% Deet (horrible stuff!) to deter the little perishers 🦟🦟🦟 from biting me in the first place! PS I will have a mosquito net!

Now I’m asking for the help of you all please! 🙏

Since 2017 we’ve provided almost 2000 mosquito 🦟 nets and I hope that with lots of help we will go far over that mark this time! I’m hoping that as many of you as possible will make a donation to buy mosquito 🦟 nets to deliver to the most vulnerable! Only £5 per net and just one net could protect several members of a family as they often share a bed or mat!

Many thanks if you have already donated, your kindness will help prevent the receiver of your gift being bitten by the malaria carrying mosquito 🦟, therefore preventing them becoming very sick and even dying of this truly terrible disease 😢! I’ve been witness to this horror several times, and even helped get a young woman onto an overcrowded mini-bus taxi for an uncomfortable journey to the nearest clinic. Fortunately she got the treatment she needed and survived. Many don’t.

If every one of you donated for even just one 🦟 net it would make such a difference to so many, and of course I will send you a photo of those who receive your life saving gift!

Although we will still go on sponsoring several children through their schooling, mainly with the help of our dog sitting service, this definitely WILL be my last visit to Uganda, and so my very last opportunity to deliver nets to the poorest and most vulnerable, young children, the elderly and pregnant ladies. Please help me, if you can.

Thank you all in anticipation.

Love to you from me and the many we have helped in Uganda 🇺🇬 over the years, since my first visit in 2002! 🤗
