Counting down the days!

Happy Christmas to all friends of St James. You have certainly showed the children a lot of love through your support. x

I’m now counting down the days to my trip to Uganda – this time next week I will be in Entebbe spending my second day with my friend Thaddaeus who has helped us so much at St James and is now advising us as to how to secure its future. I hope to meet his family too this time which I am really looking forward to.  It will be a few days before I reach St James but if anyone would like to make a donation to help at the school please look at my donation page or send me an email on gerrysuganda@gmail.com During this visit I am hoping we have raised enough money to fund the installation of solar in the block of four classrooms Hambridge Hall and also continue the building of Joy Clinic. We have made an incredible change to so many lives since 2008 and hope with your continued help to do even more. Wishing you a very happy Christmas to you all and a very big THANK YOU for your interest and support!

To this in 2015 – Hambridge Hall – a permanent block of four classrooms that open up into a large hall that is already being hired out to earn funds for the school. If we are able to add solar power it will mean that we are likely to get bookings for events like weddings and graduations that tend to go on after the sun goes down at 7 o’clock.
