Happy New Year to you and your family. We are now in our third national lockdown and I’m hoping that it will be ‘third time lucky’ for us! I hope that you and your family will not find the forced ‘isolation’ too difficult and that you keep safe to welcome in the spring. Thanks Kath. Yes it is worrying about Covid in Uganda. There have been deaths and more recently, according to Bosco who is a nurse in Jinja town, a big rise in people catching the virus because the general election is looming and, a bit like his pal Trump, the present president is having big rallies though his opposition are being locked up for doing the same! One advantage that the country has is that much of their life is spent out of doors and worth few houses having glass in the windows there is plenty of air circulating. I hate to think what would happen if they found themselves in our position!
