5 I’m home!

Dear friends

I’m home now after three happy fulfilling though sometimes difficult weeks in Uganda. As my husband explained to you in the last blog, it was difficult to add to the website or even send emails though I was able to Facebook and use Messenger very easily. So sorry you missed my ‘adventures’ as there were a few! I plan to copy and paste my posts on to here over the next days so you won’t escape my rambles!

In the meantime I have a VIP to care for! You may have heard that my darling husband had an accident early hours of Saturday morning leaving him in a bad way. He’s suffered a broken wrist and nasty cuts and bruises to his head and other parts of his body. He cannot recall any of the accident but eventually came to and called our daughter Sara who then called the ambulance. It was rather a shock coming home yesterday morning as although I had seen this photo, the bruises had come out even more. Poor darling looked like he had been in the ring with Frank Bruno! But dear man is cheerful as always but happy I’m home. Roles have been reversed as he normally spoils me with care and attention when I come one from Uganda!

So while I am hubby caring Im sure I will find time to add to the website.

X

Thanks, The bruising has got worse. He’s got two black eyes and bruises all over. The hand that isn’t broken is swollen too.
He doesn’t remember anything about the fall. And looking at his injuries he must have fallen several times! We’ve just got back from Mac hospital. He might need an op but they are checking the ct scan with the surgeon and calling us later. He’s fallen asleep now and keeps doing so. Nicola our doc daughter says it’s because of the shock to his system. It’s so upsetting seeing him like this. He’s usually the strong one. Very scary !

Glad you’re home safe and sound Gerry. You’ve had a productive visit to Uganda by all accounts.

I do hope Norman recovers quickly from his fall, it sounds like a nasty one!! Give him my love and a delicate hug from me.

    Love to you both

      Thanks Sue
Just got back from Macc hospital. He might need op to realign bones but they are confirming later. He’s slowly improving, sleeping a lot but that’s got to help. His heads ok which is the main thing, just held together with superglue!

So sorry Angela Esther tried to get them for me but the ones she found had the pictures right up to edge of material which was the problem last time! I will try again next year! Do I still owe you back for one?
